Nonprofit organizations have natural life cycles. Proactively navigating these transitions is critical to fulfilling the promise of your mission.

Assessment

  • The Readiness Assessment explores the three dimensions of a nonprofit’s work: Programs - what activities they engage in to achieve their mission; their Processes - how they go about doing the work; and the People that make the work possible, from staff and volunteers to board leadership and the constituencies they serve. With a strengths-based and inclusive approach, we look for areas of opportunity and seek to engage those closest to the problem to identify appropriate solutions and interventions.

  • Every project is unique. Deliverables can include:

    • Seat and facilitate the convening of an Assessment Committee for each organization to oversee and inform the assessment process.

    • Conduct our qualitative and quantitative readiness assessment across the three organizational dimensions: People, Processes, and Programs

    • Prepare individual assessment reports and presentations for each entity.

    • If pursuing affiliations, share a joint summary report highlighting areas of strength and opportunities for collaboration. If appropriate, share individual assessment reports between participating organizations and agree on next steps.

  • $7,750-$15,500 per organization

*Note: Organizations may want to pursue funding to account for the time and resources necessary to complete a thorough assessment. Funds allocated should include both consulting fees and reasonable accommodations for staff time. Direct service organizations may also consider compensation for the inclusion of program participants’ time and perspectives.
