#MergerMondays: New Bridge Cleveland + Central School of Practical Nursing
Nearly 100,000 nurses left their jobs in 2020 but the field is predicted to grow again by 6% over the next decade. 💉Now, effective training for nurses is more important than ever for the healthcare field and all of us who rely on it.
New Bridge Cleveland and the Central School of Practical Nursing (CSPN) recently joined forces to better prepare future caregivers. Nursing is absolutely not for the faint of heart, and we need training programs that are just as strong as the students. 💪
New Bridge Cleveland is a workforce development nonprofit where students can explore and pursue career paths to help bring an end to health disparities. 📚🏥Since its founding in 2010, New Bridge Cleveland has prepared students from every entry level to join the workforce in as little as 10 weeks. 🎓
CSPN is Ohio’s oldest practical nursing program and one of the first in the US. The already very strong program at CSPN will now benefit from the trauma-informed program at New Bridge, which works to increase access to care and opportunities to live a healthy life for everyone.
This partnership will strengthen technical skill learning with social-emotional learning to help students foster resilience and adaptability in the high-stress healthcare environment. A worthwhile integration for the students and the many people they will serve throughout their careers. 🩺
