#MergerMondays: Idaho Community Foundation + Idaho Nonprofit Center

Two Idaho nonprofit powerhouses are forming a partnership to strengthen the culture of philanthropy in Idaho. 👏

The Idaho Community Foundation and the Idaho Nonprofit Center are joining forces in a merger that will support the state’s more than 9,000 nonprofit organizations. This is an amazing example of how nonprofit collaboration can lead to a powerful combined mission and impact that is greater than either organization could have accomplished alone.

ICF has awarded more than $185 million in grants and INC represents nonprofits and business affiliates across Idaho. The organizations have worked together in the past for increased success on projects like creating the COVID-19 Response and Recovery Fund for Idaho in March 2020 along with United Way of Idaho. Combining resources and leadership will better serve both organizations’ stakeholders and maximize support for the state’s nonprofits. 💯

The merger will be finalized by the end of the year. 🌄Together, ICF and INC will help nonprofits in Idaho to “gain greater access to support, training and opportunities to maximize their influence across Idaho,” says Kevin Bailey, CEO of INC and vice president of the state-wide board.

There are a ton of great things to come for Idaho’s nonprofit sector as a result of this collaboration. 💪Want to read more about it? We’ve got all the details here!
