Well, how about that! 🤩 A local shout out 📢for todays hashtag#mergermondays. Congrats to Good Neighbors RI on their collaboration with the Bread of Life Pantry in Rumford.

My wife and I moved to Rhode Island earlier this year - and phew! Moving ain’t easy folks! ❤️ But we are loving getting settled and learning about our new community.

So when we visited our local coffee shop (also shout out to this local gem: ☕️ Borealis Coffee Roasters in Riverside!) this weekend, I was delighted to come across this story of #sustainedcollaboration in my local paper!

Every business owner knows that expanding locations is a big step. 🥾Nonprofits experience many of the same benefits and challenges in achieving sustainable scale. I’m thrilled to see this kind of visionary leadership and collaborative spirit taking place right in my backyard! 🤝

By acquiring another location - one that is existing and has 15 years of experience - Good Neighbors may find some efficiencies in scaling their operation and opportunities to expand their reach and community of supporters. Cheers to a successful collaboration! 👏
