#MergerMondays: SADD + Northern Life Youth Services Inc.

Nonprofit collaboration can take many forms. Northern Life Youth Services Inc. and Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) are integrating in a way that serves both organizations’ needs. 

Northern Life Youth Services Inc. is a Hillsboro, North Dakota nonprofit dedicated to helping teens better understand themselves, others and their environments. Through articles, podcasts and other sources of information, Northern Lights and NL Pulse support teens and young adults in finding balance among 8 core areas of their lives. Their resources and programming have found a new home as a part of SADD. 

Though SADD has served students around the country for decades, they are constantly growing to meet the evolving needs of the youth they serve. With the aim of creating a healthier, safer world through student collaboration, SADD has a vision that aligns perfectly with Northern Lights’ programming. 

This integration will bring the new aspect of mental health to SADD’s programming and will provide new resources and opportunities to benefit youth nationwide in a way that would have never before been possible. The impactful work of each organization will continue to expand as the resources and programs are combined through this integration.
